About
My WhatsApp client developed with Qt 4.6.3 for Symbian S60 3rd Edition phones
This application is developed with Qt using Qt SDK 1.1.2 (which contains Qt Creator 2.2.1 IDE and Qt 4.6.3 framework). When you build the application, it generates a Symbian SIS file (.sis) which can be installed on Nokia Symbian S60 3rd Edition phones (e.g. Nokia N95, E71, E72, E90 etc.). This client application works with my server side software written in NodeJS. You can run the server side code on your local PC or host it on any cloud provider and connect the client app with your server, I have created YouTube videos showing step by step instructions.
Important
Do not download new versions of Qt Creator IDE because they come with new version of Qt SDK that doesn't support Symbian phones
By default when you try to run the generated SIS file, you will get certificate expired error. I use a windows tool called "Sign4Ever.exe" which updates the certificate to make it valid for next 20 years!

Description
This is the Qt SDK 1.1.2 offline installer. The installer is provided for developers wishing to continue with development of applications using Qt 4.6.3 for Symbian and Qt 4.7.3 for Symbian^3 and Symbian Anna. The SDK provides for coding, testing, and building Qt apps on Microsoft Windows. It is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 (both X86 and ARM versions).

By default it will only install the Qt 4.7.3 framework. If you wish to develop apps for Symbian S60 3rd Edition phones, then choose custom installation and select Qt 4.6.3 from the installation menu.
Signing the app
After building the SIS file from Qt Creator, copy it to a new folder and place "sign4ever.exe" in the same folder and run the EXE. It will sign the app so that the certificate will be valid for the next 20 years!
